CCFA Parent Volunteer Guidelines-as of 07/12/2025

Tackle Football DIBS Credits.

Coaches, Assistant Coaches:

*Volunteer hours are waved due to the time spent coaching and player development during

practices.

Helper Coaches:

*Parents who spend at least 80% or more of their time assisting the team during practice and

games will have their volunteer hours credited pending approval from their grade level commissioner

that the requirements were met.

Team Manager/Helper Coach:

*They are the main point of “extra” contact for the team only. Some examples may include

organizing after game snacks and drinks for players with fellow team parents.

*Ensuring the field for their team is clean after the game, all trash and bottles are picked up

and properly disposed of. Remember we want to make sure to leave the fields in the same condition

if not better when we leave.

*Filling in to run the game sticks if the designated parent volunteer/sibling is unable to make

it.

*Take pictures of the game and players to be used for our social media channels. Please

forward to your grade level commissioner or head coach to send to the CCFA marketing director.

* Other duties as assigned.

Down Marker Volunteer (3 per game):

During each home game for CCFA we are required to have three parent volunteers run the

flags and the down marker. These parents must be able to follow directions from the referee or other

game officials, as well be able to move up and down the field as required.

We ask that you focus on the game as a whole and not an individual player(s) during this time.

*To earn volunteer credits, we require a minimum of a 2-home game commitment, were the

parent runs the flag or down markers for the season.

*The volunteer may be either a parent, family member or sibling of at least 9th grade age

or older. *

For Reporting:

* Head Coaches will get the names of the parent volunteers for the season and report back

to the grade level commissioner, no later than 48 hours after the date of the last game of the season.

Coaches will also include the player(s) name.

*Grade Level Commissioners will compile the list of all the parent volunteers for the season

and send them to the CCFA Volunteer director no later than one week after the season ends.

*The Volunteer director will reconcile the volunteer hours for the appropriate tackle player

within one week of receiving the grade level commissioner email.
