Boys Flag

Welcome to the CCFA Spring 2026 Flag Football! Registration will be open January 12 - March 11, 2026. All players who register by the March 11 deadline will be accepted into the league.

CCFA offers both COED leagues (typically 99% boys) and dedicated GIRLS leagues. For our COED/Boys leagues, players are divided into grade-level teams and depending on registration numbers, 2+ grades may be combined.

CCFA relies on parent volunteers to coach all teams. Please consider coaching!

Leagues & Fees

There are 2 types of COED/Boys Leagues:

YOUTH LEAGUE (Pre-K - 3rd Grade):

'Fee: $75/player

A casual, fun league to introduce flag football fundamentals with an emphasis on equal playing time and equal distribution of the ball. There are no formal scores kept or league standings.

Pre-K - 2nd Grade: Coach is QB (players CAN QB at Coach's discretion)

3rd Grade: Player is QB

PASSING LEAGUE (3rd/4th - 8th Grade):

Fee: $100/player

A more competitive league for older players with a focus on passing rather than running the ball. 3rd grade players may opt-in to play with the 4th grade level. If your player already played or is planning to play tackle football, Passing League is recommended.

While football fundamentals and equal playing time are emphasized, the differences between Youth and Passing League are:

  • 90-minute play time
  • Use of QB Tee tool
  • Limited # of running plays
  • Paid referees
  • Formal time and score are kept
  • Last playdate is a playoff game

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What grade should I register my player?

A: For 95% of players, register them for their current grade in school - i.e. 1st graders should play in the 1st grade level. However, players may play up or down a grade to match their level of play or play with friends. In cases where players will not play with their school grade, please register them for the grade level they want to play - i.e. a 2nd grader who wants to play UP a level should be registered as a 3rd grader.

Q: Can my female player play in the Youth or Passing League?

A: While CCFA encourages females to play in the dedicated Girls league, they are permitted to play in the Youth or Passing League if they choose.

Q: How are teams created?

A: YOUTH: CCFA attempts to honor 1 friend request per player, but it is never guaranteed. CCFA will NOT create teams that are exclusive or dominated by one school or neighborhood. CCFA attempts to balance teams with at least 3 schools and equivalent experience levels. Youth sports are a great way to meet new friends - embrace it!

PASSING: Teams are created by a combination of coach selections and friend requests while trying to balance team experience level to keep games as competitive as possible.
