CCFA Fall 2026 Flag Football Information

Get in the game! Chaska-Chanhassen Football Association (CCFA) is THE source for youth football in Chaska, Chanhassen, Carver, Victoria and the surrounding areas. CCFA offers both casual and competitive programs for boys and girls, Pre-K through 8^th grade.

Season Dates: August 16 – October 11, 2026
Days & Times: Saturdays 8:30 am – 6:00 pm
Locations: Chaska High School Practice Fields and Stadium

Game locations and times will be consistent each week for each league.

Parent coaches are needed!

NOTE: Our buddy request policy has CHANGED!

CCFA flag football draws players from over a dozen public, private, charter, and home schools in the local area and we view this diversity as a strength of our program. Due to the growth of flag football, managing buddy requests has become unfeasible for our small team of volunteers to accommodate. Hence, CCFA has updated our policy to only honor reciprocal buddy requests, i.e. "Jack Smith" and "Mason Johnson" must put each other as buddy requests for the request to be honored and CCFA will commit to honoring those requests. We ask that parents please keep the perspective that flag football seasons are short - 8 playdates or fewer and run 1x/week for 90 minutes or less. While your players may be disappointed at not being placed on the same team as a friend, youth sports are a great way to make new friends – embrace the opportunity.

Further, the follow requests that subvert this policy will NOT be honored, such as:

- Any "chain" of buddy requests. Example: Suzy requests Ava. Ava requests Maddie. Maddie requests Suzy. These 3 friends will not get their buddy requests.

- Broad groups: any Chapel Hill kids, anyone from Jonathan etc.

- Non-reciprocal buddy requests. Example: Jack Smith requests Mason Johnson. Mason Johnson does not request any buddy. Neither player will receive a buddy.

- Refunds will not be given for players who quit due to their team assignment.

How to get your buddy request:

Find the buddy’s parent and mutually agree to name each other’s children as buddy requests
COACH! We will attempt to honor coaching partner requests up to 2, possibly 3 coaches per team if we have the numbers.
Get involved! CCFA has several open board positions and is always looking for more volunteers. The more help we have, the more requests we can accommodate.
